Beyoncé Joins Forces With Topshop For Exciting New Collab .
Queen Bey is no stranger to the high street, posting faveTopshop ensembles to her 19 million followers on Instagram, as well as wearing her fave high street get ups out and about - from day-tripping to the Louvre or simply hanging out with hubby Jay-Z and baby Blue Ivy.
So it should be no surprise that the 33 year old has teamed up with Sir Phillip Green’s mega store to create an exciting new sub label...
The super savvy business woman has struck a 50-50 partnership with the global brand for a new athletic street wear brand called Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. The line is said to be dropping in stores as early as autumn 2015, (date in the diary people!) and will include a full range of clothing, footwear and accessories; pulling inspiration from both sports, fitness and dance to create a collection suitable for everyone be it yoga, running or heading to the gym.
Brand CEO Sir Phillip Green told WWD at the weekend “This not a collaboration. This is about building a brand and building a business — a separate, proper business, with separate overhead and a separate office,”
We wonder is Bey has plans for her Topyoncé office - Sir Phil has already suggested towards a New York HQ. The brand had been keen to start up an athletic sector for a while and who better to go into business with than a face (and body) that can really get behind it. The superstar has said “I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking.”
With the deal now signed, they will be looking to recruit a brand new team to turn it around in a year; plans include hiring a creative director plus two designers – one specialising in sportswear as well as an established fashion designer. After recruiting Vogue’s long standing Fashion Director Kate Phelan as a creative director in 2012, we’ll be keeping a close eye at the fashion industry’s top talent for a potential move to the new project…

Victoria Beckham fashion label has grown by more than £20 million in just five years, with a flagship store launching in London just last month.
Now Victoria Beckham has a new title to add to her growing list of accolades – Britain’s most successful entrepreneur.
The 40-year-old singer turned fashion designer was yesterday named top of a list of the country’s 100 business people, beating Sir James Dyson and Dame Vivienne Westwood.
It comes after the turnover of Mrs Beckham’s fashion business has risen from £1million to £30million in just five years.
Last month, the mother of four opened her first stand alone boutique in London’s Mayfair. Just five years ago, she had three employees on her books. She now has 100.
The title was awarded to the former pop star by Management Today after the business magazine ranked scores of entrepreneurs by their success over the past five years.
In 2012, Mrs Beckham, said in an interview that she was called posh because she ‘liked the nice restaurants, and the nice clothes’. And now she can certainly afford both. Since 2009, her turnover has increased by 2,900 per cent.
Her current wealth is estimated at £210million – overtaking her husband David, who was worth a reported £165million in 2013.
Andrew Saunders of Management Today told The Daily Telegraph: ‘She’s got a real business, some design talent and some business nous. She gets a lot of stick for being a celeb fashionista but I don’t think that’s fair.
‘She has built something real out of her own celebrity which is quite a contemporary story. She deserves to be celebrated.’

Meanwhile, Kris has been spotted on a dinner date with Justin Bieber's co-manager Corey Gamble.
After photos of the pair emerged online, Corey told OK! magazine: 'I don’t know how anyone had those pics because no one was seated across from us.
'That worries me and I’m hoping it’s not a setup from Kris because I do really like her.'
At the time Kris filed for divorce, legal documents stated the 58-year-old showbiz matriarch wanted joint physical and legal custody of their only underage child - 17-year-old daughter Kylie.
She also requested to keep all jewelry and assets from before the separation, saying they'll divide 'everything else' later.
According to Radar Online, Bruce also requested joint custody of Kylie and wanted to keep his 'jewelry and other personal effects.'
