Beyoncé Joins Forces With Topshop For Exciting New Collab .

beyonce topshop new clothing line
Queen Bey is no stranger to the high street, posting faveTopshop ensembles to her 19 million followers on Instagram, as well as wearing her fave high street get ups out and about - from day-tripping to the Louvre or simply hanging out with hubby Jay-Z and baby Blue Ivy.
So it should be no surprise that the 33 year old has teamed up with Sir Phillip Green’s mega store to create an exciting new sub label...
The super savvy business woman has struck a 50-50 partnership with the global brand for a new athletic street wear brand called Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. The line is said to be dropping in stores as early as autumn 2015, (date in the diary people!) and will include a full range of clothing, footwear and accessories; pulling inspiration from both sports, fitness and dance to create a collection suitable for everyone be it yoga, running or heading to the gym.
Brand CEO Sir Phillip Green told WWD at the weekend “This not a collaboration. This is about building a brand and building a business — a separate, proper business, with separate overhead and a separate office,”
We wonder is Bey has plans for her Topyoncé office - Sir Phil has already suggested towards a New York HQ. The brand had been keen to start up an athletic sector for a while and who better to go into business with than a face (and body) that can really get behind it. The superstar has said “I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking.”
With the deal now signed, they will be looking to recruit a brand new team to turn it around in a year; plans include hiring a creative director plus two designers – one specialising in sportswear as well as an established fashion designer. After recruiting Vogue’s long standing Fashion Director Kate Phelan as a creative director in 2012, we’ll be keeping a close eye at the fashion industry’s top talent for a potential move to the new project…
